St. Catherine Labouré (1806–1876) was a humble Daughter of Charity in Paris who received a series of Marian apparitions from the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1830. St. Catherine lived the rest of her life quietly in service to the poor and elderly, her hidden holiness only revealed after her death.
