In the Silence Girls TruthBand

Our world is full of distractions and things that pull us away from living the life that we are called to live as Christians. We are constantly surrounded by noise and when we finally slow down long enough to have quiet or be quiet, we freak out a little bit because the silence is scary. When we're alone with our thoughts, we're not sure what we will hear and we're probably just a little afraid of what might be there. The declaration for our "In the Silence Girls TruthBand" came to me when I was deep in prayer in church. Alone with Jesus, I felt like He was reminding me how wonderful it is when I just sit, silently, and BE with Him. But it is so darn difficult, so I asked for His grace to be able to do it more. And the grace to teach my children to do the same.
