St. Peter Adult Socks

St. Peter, born Simon, had humble beginnings as a fisherman on the sea of Galilee. It was as a fisherman that Jesus first came upon Peter and sent him out to fish in deep waters. When he returned with a boat laden with fish, Jesus then told Peter, “From now on you will be catching men,” alluding to Peter’s lifelong teaching and evangelization for the Church. Peter was one of the twelve apostles and was the first of them to see Christ rise from the dead. It was then that Jesus entrusted Peter both with his new name Peter (Rock) and with the keys to the kingdom, “You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church.”
